Nøvel Organic Cotton Hoodie

The Nøvel Organic Cotton Hoodie is the heaviest piece in the range: a 280 g/m² organic cotton hoodie with a brushed inner lining, raglan sleeves and a jersey-lined hood. Built to the weight and finish of a hoodie you keep, not one you replace each winter.

The details are where hoodies are usually cheapened, so this is where we did not. The hood is jersey-lined rather than raw, so it sits properly against the neck and holds its shape when down. The drawstrings run through metal eyelets with metal stoppers instead of plastic. Cuffs and hem are ribbed to hold warmth in and keep the silhouette clean. Raglan sleeves give the shoulder more room to move than a set-in seam, which is what makes a heavy hoodie comfortable rather than restrictive.

Fit and care

Regular unisex fit that layers over a t-shirt without bulk. Size up for a heavier, oversized drape. Machine wash cold inside out, tumble dry low, do not iron over the print. Cold washing preserves the brushed inner face — hot water flattens it.
