Nøvel Embroidered Vintage Cap

The Nøvel Embroidered Vintage Cap is corduroy done quietly. A six-panel, low-profile crown in 100% cotton corduroy, unstructured so it softens to the shape of your head rather than sitting on top of it, with the Nøvel mark stitched directly into the fabric.

Corduroy is an unusual choice for a cap and that is the point — the fine wale catches light the way flat twill never does, so a plain navy cap gains depth in daylight without needing a logo to announce itself. The crown is left unstructured and low, which is what stops it looking like sports merchandise. Inside, a cotton twill sweatband and taped seams keep the shape honest through a summer of wear. The mark is embroidered, not printed, so it will not crack, fade or peel.

Blank caps are sourced from China and Vietnam, then embroidered to order in Europe and shipped worldwide. Nothing is stitched until you order it.

Fit and care

One size, adjustable at the back buckle to fit most adults. Spot clean with cool water and leave to air dry — corduroy loses its pile in a machine wash, and a hot dryer will pull the crown out of shape.
